There are six (6) individual awards, and two (2) recognition awards for hotels. The categories are as follows:
Beyond the Call of Duty
This award is given to the hotel employee who has demonstrated a willingness and ability to go "beyond the call of duty" and goes the extra mile in the name of customer service.
Unsung Hero
This award is given to the hotel employee who, through his/her work "behind the scenes" has enabled a hotel to significantly improve customer service and guest experience.
Rising Star
This award is given to the hotel employee who has shown a rapid progression in his/her early hotel career; and has demonstrated the ability and dedication to be a pivital figure in San Francisco's Hotel Community.
Lifetime Achievement Awards
Hotel Operations
This award is given to the hotel employee who has shown a "lifetime" of dedication to the hotel industry.
Department Manager
This award is given to the manager who has shown a "lifetime" of dedication to the hotel industry.
Hotel Executive
This award is given to the Hotel Executive who has shown a "lifetime" of dedication to the hospitality industry.
