A pioneer in the San Francisco hospitality community, Yvonne Lembi-Detert opened San Francisco’s first boutique hotel more than 26 years ago, and has grown Personality Hotels into a successful collection of seven boutique hotels. She has dedicated her entire career to customer service since graduating from San Francisco State University. A hands-on owner, she can be seen each day a once of her properties, working with and mentoring staff, asking for their input, thinking creatively to solve challenges and leading by personal example.
