Tom Myskowski,
Tom Myskowski’s dedication to customer service has been the hallmark of his career in the hospitality industry. He began his professional life with Marriott in 1968 as a management trainee. After serving 18 years with Marriott, Tom decided to move to what has become the largest and most successful hospitality management company in the country, Interstate Hotels & Resorts (IHR). For the past 20 years, Tom has been a role model and mentor to many managers and associates, alike, in providing excellent guest service not only to the customers but to each other. So passionate is his commitment to guest service -- living, breathing and teaching the finer points to his team, that one of the Holiday Inn associates was recently recognized as the top guest comment card receiver in the entire Holiday Inn brand.
In the 14 years that Tom has been General Manager of the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway, the hotel has been honored with the following awards and commendations from IHR:

In the four decades of Tom’s service to the industry, he has helped mould two generations of managers who have gone on to great success as regional directors, managers, general managers, and regional vice presidents.
