In 2008, JdV started building the JdV Care Team. The idea of creating such a committee came from the desire to be able to take care of their eimployees in the same way they care for their guests. The team is comprised of employees from many properties that come together to celebrate or recognize major life milestones in their employees’ lives. The Care Team took it one step further to provide support in difficult life events as well. Since the inception of this program over 150 lives have been touched through the Care Team…..births, adoptions, housing matters and even pet events. In 2010, the committee expanded and is now represented in Southern California. The JdV Care Team truly shows the power of how a caring group can make an impact through creativity, passion and teamwork and how a simple act of human compassion can ignite a profound and positive chain reaction.
