Heather Powell, At Your Service - Program Coordinator, JW Marriott
The San Francisco State Hospitality Management Program led to Heather Powell’s quick ascendancy from intern in 2004 to full time Room Service Operator, shortly thereafter. In 2006, when the property became the JW Marriott, Heather joined the newly founded “At Your Service” Department. In 2007, she was named Program Coordinator, a position created fro her! She has designed and implemented innovative programs which have become standards of service excellence. Heather also takes an active role in the JW Marriott community service programs. With a ready smile, she is always eager to be of assistance to other departments. Heather’s passion for hospitality and eagerness to create the ultimate experience insures that every guest is a VIP. Her work ethic and eagerness to learn and assume more responsibilities are paving the way for the Rising Star of the Industry.
