David Shortz, Suite Coordinator, Hilton San Francisco
The Hilton San Francisco’s clients may only be acquainted with David’s voice, but his warmth and willingness to satisfy each request are enthusiastically recognized by meeting planners and clients in post-convention meetings and satisfaction surveys. He is tireless in his efforts to insure that all sales and service staff (new and seasoned) are thoroughly trained in their knowledge of the hotel’s assets and to keep abreast of any renovations or new amenities. His behind the scenes work through his interaction with sales and operations staff makes for a seamless transition from sale to stay. During his 18 years at the Hilton, he has volunteered with many of the hotel’s programs, such as “adopting” seniors and children during the holidays, pledge nights on KQED or participating in AIDS Walk. David’s role on the Teamster’s Human Rights Commission is a good fit for his compassion and concern for others.
