Darryl Sneed, Omni San Francisco

Darryl has not simply demonstrated his dedication to taking care of customers but he has demonstrated his dedication to taking care of everyone! The difference is that Darryl takes care of everyone whether they are a coworker, guest or pedestrian.  

Darryl obviously does an amazing job of taking care of guests. Once, he used his own time and money to purchase a dress shirt for a guest when the dry cleaning service lost a shirt. Darryl took money out of his pocket to help cover the taxi fare when a guest was short. He is incredibly good with children and becomes instant friends with them which is evident through the countless letters that children send him.

Darryl takes great care of his coworkers by always volunteering to work the holidays to allow others to spend time with their families.  Darryl takes care of even those that are not staying at our hotel.  In June of 2008 we received a letter from a fellow hotelier that had an encounter with Darryl.  She was on her way to dinner with her 5 year old daughter when nominee waved them inside and offered them cranberry lemonade. Darryl then disappeared and reappeared with a "kid's bag" filled with toys and activities for her 5 year old. 

Darryl takes care of everyone not because it is his job but because that is the type of person he is.
